Offering Services in French

Over 500,000 Francophones live in Ontario. We therefore invite businesses and agencies that are not subject to the French Language Services Act to offer services in French.

To assist you in this undertaking, the Office of Francophone Affairs has developed a toolbox that will help to you communicate briefly in French with your customers, answer the phone, and write a letter. This toolbox, which is intended for Anglophones who know little or no French, contains instructions for its use and a pronunciation guide.
